Responsibilities

• Initiates the nursing process and provides entry level nursing care within policy and Nurse Practice Act guidelines.
• Participates in evaluation of total nursing needs and planning, coordinating, and administering patient care.
• Keeps records of health care treatment and hospital stay; prepares reports and standard forms.
• May consult with a therapeutic multi-disciplinary team on patient progress and treatment plans.
• Provides crisis intervention, crisis stabilization and referrals as required.
