Job summary

Adventist Health in Armona, CA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Hanford, CA, providing evaluation and treatment for patients with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders. The role includes VFSS evaluations and occasional coverage at Tulare, Selma, and Reedley hospitals.

A Master's degree and at least one year of inpatient experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• One year inpatient Speech Language Pathology experience is required.
• CFY accepted; CCC-SLP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage an 8-patient daily caseload and document assessments.
• Evaluate and treat patients using VFSS and related modalities.
• Supervise assistants and support staff in line with Practice Acts.
• Coordinate care with rehab therapists and hospital departments.
• Collect data on patient outcomes and contribute to care planning.
