Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Therapy is required.
• Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA is required.
• Experience 0-1 year preferred in speech-language pathology.
• Acute hospital experience 0-1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement treatment plans through a variety of techniques and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and strategies for improving communication.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
