Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-Graduate Degree in Speech Language Pathology per SC Board/ASHA equivalency.
• Current ASHA CCC or equivalent and SC licensure as an SLP.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct speech language pathology services upon referral by a physician or APP.
• Assesses and treats speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive/communication disorders.
• Develops and monitors individualized speech therapy treatment plans.
• Documents treatment data including progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Instructs patients and families on home programs.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for discharge planning and care coordination.
• Maintains professional standards and participates in department meetings.
