Job summary

Children's Health in Plano is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for inpatient care. This PRN position requires weekend coverage, hours 8am–4pm, on-site work, and a minimum of two years’ related experience (new grads considered). You will perform evaluations and treatments, set goals, and contribute to discharge planning with the care team.

Salary is $60/hour with opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment within Acute Care Therapy Services.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Texas (SLP-1A) required at hire.
• CCC-SLP certification required within two years of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years of related experience preferred; new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct Speech Language Pathology evaluations and treatments with discharge planning.
• Coordinate and prioritize scheduling to meet patient treatment demands.
• Maintain department equipment; attend meetings, rounds, and professional development.
• Other duties as appropriate to the position.
• Pay: $60/hour.
