Qualifications

• Requires Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.

• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) is required.
• Advanced life support may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech-language pathology services to inpatients across the lifespan.
• Evaluates, plans, and implements care addressing communication, cognition, voice, feeding, and swallowing.
• Collaborates with caregivers and interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Supervises students and support personnel as per state policy.
• Engages in education, safety, quality, and discharge planning activities.
