Job summary

St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Lewiston, ID, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate patients and implement treatment plans for communication and swallowing disorders. You will document progress, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide family education.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and completion of CFY, with licensure to practice. Prior acute rehab experience and ASHA familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CFY completion is required.
• Current state licensure to practice as an SLP.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans for communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and document progress accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and families.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure rehab plan consistency.
• Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support personnel as applicable.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and facility policies.
