Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for our inpatient rehabilitation program. This fulltime role evaluates patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other conditions, develops and implements treatment plans, and coordinates services with the care team.

Applicants must hold state licensure as SLP; BLS within 90 days; CCC from ASHA preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop/modify treatment plans as directed by the physician.
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Design functional treatment programs to support return to community activities.
• Educate patients, families, and colleagues; coordinate treatment with other services.
• Perform other professional duties related to patient care and program delivery.
