Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited university-based program.
• Active license to practice speech/language pathology by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and treats patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Interprets evaluation findings and develops a comprehensive plan of care.
• Implements speech-language pathology treatment programs and reassesses progress.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Documents in the medical record and completes related documentation.
• May serve as Clinical Instructor for interns and supervise students.
