Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week contract in Topeka, KS. You will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for patients with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient setting.

Requirements include BLS, 1 year inpatient experience, and Epic charting familiarity. Benefits include travel support and a 40-hour work week. Start date 09/21/2026; end date 12/26/2026.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of inpatient experience preferred.
• Familiarity with stroke, Parkinson's and other neurological conditions.
• Epic charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and treatment for swallowing, language, and cognitive deficits.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and therapy processes.
• Utilize appropriate tools and techniques for communication and swallowing assessments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans.
