Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Topeka, Kansas. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, adapting therapy plans to patient goals in diverse settings.

The role requires KS licensure, BLS, and CCC-SLP eligibility; travel experience is preferred. Compensation includes competitive pay, benefits, and support from a clinical team. 40 hours weekly with a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current SLP license valid in the state of Kansas.
• Active BLS certification required (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred; experience welcomed for travel roles.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Document progress and maintain EMR data.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Ensure safe, infection-controlled treatment environments.
