Job summary

UCHealth in an inpatient rehab setting is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care and lead evaluation-driven therapy within a multidisciplinary team.

You will develop personalized plans, educate patients and families, and contribute to staff development in a dynamic clinical environment with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders is required.
• Current Colorado DORA certification is required.
• BLS certification through AHA/ARC is required and valid through 60 days of hire.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, voice, and related abilities.
• Create and implement personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing disorders, prognosis, and home strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
• Precept new staff and contribute to a safe, quality-focused clinical environment.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
• Model proficiency by precepting new staff and contributing to a safe, quality-focused clinical environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Current certification with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC, valid through sixty days of hire.
