Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP, PA, CNS) for inpatient Solid Tumor Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Hematology Oncology-Cancer Institute. The role involves treating inpatient adults with solid tumors, rounding with attendings, and coordinating care, with four 10-hour shifts and minimal weekend coverage.

Education includes APRN or PA credentials with MSN and state licensure; national certification as a Nurse Practitioner and RN licensure

Qualifications

• APRN or PA qualifications preferred; MSN required within 3 years for external hires and internal moves to APRN role.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• PA: Graduate of ARC-approved Physician Assistant Program with master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform physical examinations; order and interpret labs and tests; develop treatment plans in collaboration with the health care team.
• Perform routine and specialized procedures within scope of practice and privileges.
• Prescribe and monitor medications as allowed by license and institutional policy.
• Educate patients about disease, treatments, side effects, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in rounds with the medical team to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services.
• Refer patients to specialists and ensure continuity of care across multidisciplinary teams.
