Job summary

Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for inpatient cancer medicine with rotational shifts. The APP collaborates with attending physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive inpatient care, education, and counseling to patients and families.

The role focuses on acute and chronic care management, with opportunities to participate in inpatient chemotherapy and clinical trials, under standard practice agreements and credentialing

Qualifications

• Current APRN license to practice in Ohio.
• MSN in Nursing with national certification eligibility.
• ACNP preferred OR Masters prepared; PA-C certification/licensure in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cancer medicine care in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Educate patients and families, promote health and prevention.
• Refer to other providers and community resources as appropriate.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
