Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver inpatient hospital medicine for solid tumor patients, including acute illness care and inpatient chemotherapy within a physician-led team.

Under supervision of a licensed physician, you will participate in education, prevention, and coordination of care, with compliance to Ohio APRN standards and credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Current APRN authority to practice in Ohio.
• MSN degree completed.
• Graduate of an NP program eligible for national certification.
• 0 years of relevant experience required; 0-2 years acute care preferred.
• ACNP preferred or PA-C pathway eligible with NCCPA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services to inpatients under physician supervision.
• Care for solid tumor patients including acute illness management.
• Administer inpatient chemotherapy and participate in clinical trials.
• Educate and counsel patients and families; coordinate with care team.
