Select Specialty Hospital-Oklahoma City is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist. This full-time role focuses on evaluating and treating swallowing and communication disorders, working within a multidisciplinary rehab team to deliver patient-centered care.

The position offers a pathway for professional development, BLS certification support, and opportunities to expand expertise in post-ICU rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment is required.
• CCC certification from ASHA is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and swallowing function.
• Deliver goal-oriented treatment to optimize communication and swallowing potential.
• Collaborate with Rehab Therapy Department to monitor service quality.
• Participate in peer reviews for staff performance and appraisals.
• Assist in developing SLP programs and updating policies and procedures.
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies and share professional knowledge.
