Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital OKC in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a per diem role. This inpatient rehab hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, offers a $60.00 per hour rate and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

As a clinician you will evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, and coordinate therapy with other teams to promote a successful return to daily activities. Licensure and BLS are required; CCC from ASHA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops, implements, and updates treatment plans per physician directions.
• Directs discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Designs functional treatment programs to promote return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students and staff.
• Performs additional duties related to patient care and therapy service development.
• Coordinates treatment with other clinical services and community resources.
