Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Unit. The RN will deliver patient-centered care for post-surgical and medical-surgical patients, coordinate discharge planning, and educate patients and families on post-operative care.

Schedule: 9 FTE (36 hours/week) with 12-hour NOC shifts; on-site hospital position with on-call requirements. Sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants. Compliance with infection control and safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years hospital medical/surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs to develop, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-surgical care.
