LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care in an inpatient surgical unit, delivering comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in alignment with established standards.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, illness management education, and participation in safety, quality, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ADN and RN licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience preferred.
• Experience in Med/Surg is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs and adapts care accordingly.
• Communicates care plans across the continuum to ensure coordinated care.
• Supports patient safety, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.

Job description

This position involves providing direct patient care in an inpatient surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and professional development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
• Ensures communication of care plans across the continuum and promotes a healing environment.
• Participates in activities supporting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and the ability to work safely and alertly.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in Med/Surg is preferred.
• Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills.
