Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a registered nurse for our acute inpatient unit at the Oconee Medical Campus in South Carolina. The RN will provide direct patient care, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and families.

The role requires a SC RN license and at least 1 year of RN experience. The candidate will follow evidence-based practices, ensure safety, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while adhering to hospital

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• One (1) year experience as a registered nurse required or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in SC (or compact license) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Collects data and completes nursing assessment using age-appropriate standards.
• Develops an individualized care plan in collaboration with patient/family and care team.
• Delivers direct nursing care per established plan and documents progress.
• Ensures patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
