Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking an experienced RN Inpatient to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under leadership supervision. You will direct licensed and unlicensed staff and ensure high-quality care and discharge planning.

Required RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, ACLS if inpatient unit, and BSN is preferred. The role offers opportunities to contribute to patient education and professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program required.
• RN licensure in state or compact state required upon hire.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLS required if inpatient area.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessment and documents in medical record.
• Analyzes information to determine patient needs and outcomes.
• Develops and implements plan of care.
• Oversees delegation of the plan to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Ensures discharge planning is part of the plan of care.
• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve outcomes.
• Maintains knowledge of standards that affect care.
• Contributes to professional development of peers.
