Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL seeks a registered nurse with state licensure to join a high‑volume surgical or general care environment. The position is 90% FTE with a 6:30am–7:00pm schedule and includes a sign‑on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• Prior completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with related experience or successful completion of Scrub RN competency (Internal Northern Illinois Program). Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois and required certification for respective nursing departments. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• ACLS preferred (American Heart Association). Preferred
• Perioperative Nurse Certification (CNOR) preferred. Preferred
