Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Registered Nurse for inpatient care. The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for adults in an inpatient setting.

The position requires clinical competence with target patient populations and adherence to ANA standards. BSN preferred; Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license required, with AHA BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
• Newly hired or transferred RNs who do not hold a BSN (or higher nursing degree) and have less than one year of RN experience must provide proof of acceptance into an accredited BSN (or higher nursing degree) program within 15 months of hire or transfer.
• RNs who enroll in an MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing program may meet this requirement through that program. If a BSN is awarded as part of the program, it must be completed within five (5) years of enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
• Delivering care to a primarily adult population with competency and professionalism.
• Adhering to nursing standards and hospital policies.
