Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Oregon.
• Minimum nine months of RN experience.
• One year ED experience or Kaiser NP internship in ED.
• BLS required at hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate within 3 months of hire.
• Oregon RN license.
• ACLS certification required.
• ENPC or PALS within 6 months of hire; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, provide and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient teaching with the care team.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and follow policy/procedure.
• Utilize a multidisciplinary approach and collaborate with hospital/clinic departments.
