Wheeling Hospital, Inc. seeks a registered nurse to provide professional inpatient nursing care using the nursing process and independent judgment. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation to achieve quality patient outcomes.

The incumbent will participate in education, safety, and evidence-based practice within a CAPE program, with growth through levels and competency validation. State RN licensure and BLS are required or pursued promptly.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state RN license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• Less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documentation and handoff tools.
• Creates plan of care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, intervention, and evaluation.
• Recognizes patient safety concerns and uses appropriate resources.
• Provides education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Assesses patient data and applies growth and development principles to care.
