Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking an experienced RN to provide clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient setting. You will lead nursing practices, develop and adjust care plans with patients and families, and ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality outcomes.

The role involves collaboration with the healthcare team, adherence to policies, and possible weekend/holiday/on-call work as needed to support seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment using appropriate standards and tools.
• Develops an individual plan of care with patient/family and care team.
• Updates the plan with changes in patient condition and communicates to team.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to assigned patients per established nursing plan.
• Delegates nursing tasks and ensures completion of assigned duties.
• Monitors quality of care and maintains patient safety throughout care delivery.
• Documents written and oral communication to support patient/family care needs.
• Acts as patient advocate and coordinates care with providers and team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
