Job summary

PVH Potomac Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an inpatient setting, applying the nursing process with independent judgment and strong clinical skills. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities as a charge/preceptor within the CAPE ladder.

The RN will assess patient data across life span, collaborate with the interprofessional team, and participate in policies to promote patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes patient diagnoses, problems, and goals with the healthcare team.
• Serves as a resource for patient and family learning needs.
• Coordinates with the interprofessional team to manage changing priorities.
• Provides safe, quality care and supports other nurses.
