PAM Health in Florida is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient hospital team. The role performs routine therapy, diagnostics and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures while maintaining equipment.

Requirements include state licensure, current BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of clinical respiratory experience; Nevada blood gas licensure if applicable. A high school diploma is preferred, with an associate degree favored.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada. For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsabilités

• The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
