Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the practicing state to perform respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in states that perform arterial punctures.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested.
