Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide routine and emergency cardiopulmonary care in PAM Health hospitals. The role requires state licensure, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and applicable blood gas credentials where required. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS certification.
• Must possess and maintain current ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals.
• Perform diagnostic cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Perform emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy for the patient population as required or requested.
• Perform basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
• Care for a diverse patient population.
• Work collaboratively to deliver compassionate care and achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
