Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital in Edmond, OK is seeking a Day Shift, PRN Inpatient Rehab Tech. This role supports therapeutic exercise, ensures patient safety, and handles rehab equipment daily.

Responsibilities include patient progress reporting, documentation, and collaboration with the therapy team; flexible PRN scheduling may apply, with potential for on-call or weekend shifts in a dynamic rehab setting.

Qualifications

• CPR or BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with therapeutic exercise programs.
• Monitors and intervenes to ensure patient safety including body mechanics, positioning, pacing, pain management, and equipment use.
• Manages patient equipment such as IVs, catheters, oxygen apparatus, feeding tubes, hemovacs and drains.
• Operates, cleans, and maintains department-specific therapy equipment and materials.
• Reports patient response to treatment to supervising professional.
• Maintains required forms and documentation support for therapy staff and manager.
• Reports to the assigned Manager or Director.
• Follows universal safety precautions and may face exposure to hazards; may float to other units or be on call / weekend / flex schedule.
• Frequently works with wheelchairs, walkers, and rehab equipment; exposure to pool chemicals and heat/humidity in pool areas.

Education

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) or BLS Certification
