Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of South Carolina.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Some clinical or hospital experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Documents initial nursing histories and assesses patients.
• Develops individualized care plans considering physical, psycho-social needs.
• Assists physicians with examinations, procedures and patient care.
• Coordinates discharge planning and hand-offs.
• Mentors new staff and supports infection control and safety policies.

Education

Bachelor of Nursing degree
