Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Beachwood, OH is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the therapy plan under a licensed PT. This role operates on a Per Diem schedule, with a focus on inpatient rehab for brain injuries, spinal injuries, and neurological conditions.

You will participate in patient and family education, coordinate with supervising PT, and help delegate tasks to support staff.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assists with the implementation of the therapy plan of care.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of supportive personnel for those assigned patients, to enhance patient care services.
• Communicates with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to identify needs for assessment and modification of treatment plans.
• Participates in education of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties within the scope of practice.
