University of Louisville Health Frazier Rehab Hospital-Brownsboro is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehab team in a PRN role. The position supports evaluation, treatment and patient education within an established protocol and physician orders.

You will supervise aides, perform assessments, and develop individualized care plans to improve function and manage pain. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to deliver high-quality rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license for the state.
• Must have ability to work with patients in inpatient rehab.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Provides educational information to patients regarding injury prevention, ergonomics, restoration therapy and rehabilitation.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient.
