PeaceHealth Springfield Rehabilitation Hospital is opening a brand-new inpatient rehabilitation facility in Springfield, Oregon. The Physical Therapist will lead patient care alongside PTAs and therapy techs, delivering evidence-based rehab plans and coordinating with physicians to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT in the state where the hospital is located.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the care of patients treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy techs.
• Assess patients' needs and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions.
• Observe and evaluate treatment progress and communicate changes to the physician.
• Perform patient assessments and timely QI scoring; focus on adult and geriatric rehab.
• Assess pain and implement interventions to improve function; coordinate physician contact as needed.
• Develop and update each patient’s plan of care for physical therapy.
