Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join the Inpatient Rehabilitation: Physical & Occupational Therapy team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week with an 8-5 schedule and flexible start times.

Responsibilities include patient evaluations and treatments, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the rehab team.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina with current licensure.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• CPR certification is required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment. Ensures evaluations and treatments are comprehensive and goals are realistic.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes.
• Meets department productivity standards and supports budgeted expectations.
• Participates in process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Supervises students and provides education to staff on evidence-based practices.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians, staff and external customers.
