Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapy Aide for inpatient rehab in Chelsea, MI. You will assist in preparing patients, transport them to and from therapy, and help therapists with routine tasks, improving workflow and patient care.

Required: high school diploma or GED and CPR certification; one year in a health care or service setting preferred. Weekend and holiday rotation may be required, with contingent non-benefitted status.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of high school education or GED.
• Experience: One year experience in health care setting or service industry preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: CPR

Responsabilités

• Assists in preparing patients for treatments.
• Transports patients to and from the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department.
• Provides support to Registered Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Maintains patient safety and uses proper body mechanics.
• Assists with clerical tasks and scheduling as needed.
