HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehab team on a PRN basis. You will assess, evaluate and carry out therapy programs to restore function and improve patients' quality of life in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• B.S. or M.S. in Physical Therapy
• Florida license to practice Physical Therapy
• Current BLS certification
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to lift/move patients and equipment up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate and carry out physical therapy programs to restore function
• Develop comprehensive plans of care based on evaluation data and physician orders
• Communicate with patients and families in a caring, respectful manner
• Interpret and implement physician orders accurately and timely
