Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join the inpatient Rehab Unit. You will assess, treat, and develop plans of care within a collaborative team dedicated to patient-centered outcomes and interprofessional care.

Ideal candidates hold a New Jersey license, a DPT or equivalent, and 3–5 years of acute inpatient hospital experience. This full-time role offers growth, ongoing education, and a supportive environment in Morristown, NJ.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college/university with a degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensed to practice in New Jersey (or eligible for licensure) is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in an acute inpatient hospital is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis.
• Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise.
• Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more.
• Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation.
• Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly.
• Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment.
• Works with other professionals in an effective manner
• Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
