Job summary

Encompass Health in Texas is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will ensure safe medication use and contribute to patient well‑being within a dynamic, values‑driven environment.

You will oversee daily operations, help develop pharmacy policies, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and ensure compliant dispensing. State board licensure, PharmD from accredited program, and preferred 1 year supervisory experience are required or preferred; we offer

Qualifications

• State pharmacy board licensure in good standing in Texas.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited program or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contributing to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team, leveraging critical information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medication in adherence to legal and professional pharmacy standards.
