Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehab team in Colorado. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, deliver evidence-based care, and collaborate with physicians and a diverse care team to support recovery and independence.

Responsibilities include ongoing progress monitoring, documentation, patient and family education, and coordination with the interdisciplinary group to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited program (Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate) in Occupational Therapy.
• Maintains current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Maintains active Colorado OT certification/licensure.
• Maintains current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and needs; develop individualized therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding and engagement in recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe transitions and high-quality patient experience.
• Provide guidance to therapy team and maintain alignment with mission and values.
