Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking a Rehab Clinical Operations Manager to lead inpatient rehabilitation services in St. Petersburg, FL. You will direct daily operations, ensure quality and safety, and drive efficiency across therapy and administrative teams.

Reporting to Rehab Administration, you will oversee staffing, throughput, and performance management while aligning with system standards and strategic goals for patient care and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a rehabilitation field.
• Five years of related experience, including two years in supervision/management within rehab.
• Current Florida license as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Audiologist, or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CCN if applicable).
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: day-to-day operations including staffing, scheduling, productivity, resources, workflows, and patient flow.
• Clinical Quality & Safety: identify care gaps and update SOPs; ensure compliance and risk management.
• Financial & Business Performance: monitor expenses, participate in budget development, drive efficiency.
• Team Leadership & Culture: coach supervisors and frontline staff, recruitment, coaching, performance management.
• Program Development & System Integration: collaborate on program development and marketing plans; build cross-functional relationships.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
• Participates in meetings and community activities to promote Orlando Health.
