Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an ASAP start in acute rehab settings. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in inpatient or outpatient rehab and holds a valid AZ OT license and CPR/BLS certification.

You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to restore independence in ADLs and mobility.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in AZ and NBCOT certification.
• Minimum 1 year of acute rehab/hospital experience.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement OT treatment programs for acute rehab patients.
• Improve ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and safety.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and adaptive equipment training.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, case managers, and physicians.
• Document progress in the medical record.
• Participate in discharge planning and home modifications.
• Educate patients and families on independence and injury prevention.
