Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. or entry level M.S. degree in occupational therapy.
• License to practice occupational therapy in the State of Tennessee.
• Basic computer skills; write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Use appropriate tests and measurements for the patient’s age and problems to understand the issues.
• Develop objective and measurable goals based on evaluation.
• Create a treatment plan aligned with goals and reevaluate as needed.
• Plan, organize and adjust daily schedule to optimize treatment time and space.
• Explain treatment rationale and modalities to patients and families.
• Coordinate treatment with other team members and document progress in records.
