Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Rehab LPN/LVN to help patients regain strength and independence after illness or injury. You will be part of a dynamic rehab team dedicated to compassionate care and patient progress.

Responsibilities include administering meds, monitoring responses, assisting with ADLs, documenting progress, and educating patients and families about recovery milestones.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license is required.
• Associate Degree from an accredited practical nursing program.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patient’s progress. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence
• Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly
• Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination
• Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques
• Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
• Associate Degree from an accredited school of practical nursing
