Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Dietitian to bring clinical nutrition to inpatient rehab in Boise with flexible pool scheduling and the chance to shape recovery through personalized diet plans and patient education. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

As part of a collaborative hospital setting, you will assess nutritional needs, develop personalized plans, educate patients, and coordinate with physicians and other care team

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• State licensure required
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred
• One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop/implement personalized dietary plans
• Counsel and instruct patients per physician orders and diet education needs, including post-discharge diets
• Monitor nutritional status and communicate with physicians and other disciplines involved in care
• Evaluate referral orders to determine adequacy of nutrition intake methods
• Implement nutritional care plans, adapt menus, and assist patients with special dietary needs
• Conduct calorie counts and make appropriate recommendations
• Review, revise, and sign off menus for nutritional adequacy
• Document pertinent information in the medical record to established standards
