Job summary

University Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (Hospital-Based) to deliver professional nursing care to patients across age groups. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using established nursing standards in a busy hospital setting.

Under supervision, you will administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• RN must be a registered nurse with current KY license or compact license.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Two years of hospital patient care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across age groups using the nursing process.
• Administer medications per licensure and document administration.
• Develop individualized care plans with the care team and involve patient/family.
• Educate patients and families, ensuring safety and understanding of care plans.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes and adherence to HIPAA.
