Job summary

Mosaic Life Care, a health care system in northwest Missouri, seeks an RN Inpatient to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under leadership. This role directs co-workers in care plans and may work in other areas based on staff skill and patient acuity, delivering exceptional service to all patients and customers.

The position requires RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS; ACLS within 90 days for inpatient areas.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in state or Compact required at hire.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS if inpatient area.
• Prior clinic or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
• Analyzes information to determine patient needs and outcomes.
• Develops and implements a plan of care.
• Oversees delegation of plan to licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Ensures discharge planning is part of individualized care plan when appropriate.
• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve outcomes.
• Maintains knowledge of standards affecting the patient population served.
• Contributes to professional development of peers and students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
