Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, sets expected outcomes, and plans individualized care.
• Directs care and utilizes assistants effectively in delivering patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff; documents the care plan.
• Participates in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses and updates the care plan based on findings.
• Uses evidence and research to guide nursing practice.
