Job summary

High Point Inpatient Campus - Hyannis, MA is seeking a Recovery Specialist to support patients in a comprehensive behavioral health program. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and compassionate patient care on all shifts.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, TB screening, and ability to work across diverse populations. Training in confidentiality, therapeutic boundaries, and incident reporting is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• One year of experience in substance use/behavioral health is preferred but not required.
• TB screening and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients at all times to ensure safety and document status hourly in the EHR.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment and perform end-of-shift duties to keep unit orderly.
• Assist nurses and supervisees with patient admissions and care tasks.
• Engage in verbal de-escalation and patient-centered interventions.
• Escort patients to meals, groups, and appointments, with radio checks hourly.
